Texas Station Owner In Jail After Alleged Probation Violation

TEXAS radio station owner STEPHEN YATES is in POLK COUNTY JAIL after a judge denied him bond in the wake of YATES' alleged probation violation. ABC affiliate KTRE-TV/TYLER-LUFKIN reports that YATES was on probation after his third DWI conviction in 2007 and was picked up for driving a vehicle not equipped with a breathalyzer lock as required by his 10-year probation. District Judge ELIZABETH COKER denied bond to YATES and remanded him to jail, where he will await a MAY 6th hearing on revoking his probation.
