Considering that DAN SNYDER owns both, it's not a surprise that the WASHINGTON REDSKINS and RED ZEBRA BROADCASTING have reached a new five-year deal for RED ZEBRA's stations to continue airing the NFL team's games. The REDSKINS RADIO NETWORK will continue to be flagshipped by RED ZEBRA Sports WTEM-A (ESPN 980)/WASHINGTON, with 31 stations on the network, including RED ZEBRA's stations in RICHMOND and NORFOLK-VIRGINIA BEACH.
RED ZEBRA CEO RICK CARMEAN said, "When it cones to sports in the WASHINGTON, DC area, nothing is more important than the WASHINGTON REDSKINS. We are thrilled to carry the REDSKINS games across our network of stations."
Director of Programming CHUCK SAPIENZA added, "We are very excited to continue our partnership with the WASHINGTON REDSKINS and look forward to an exciting five years with Coach (MIKE) SHANAHAN."
