The devastating storms that rolled through ALABAMA directly affected DAVIS MUSIC GROUP artist JACOB LYDA and his family. Thankfully, JACOB nor his family were injured in the storms, however they suffered major property damage to several structures and vehicles in their town of STEVENSON.
LYDA’s parents experienced extensive damage to their house, and both of their vehicles were destroyed. The garage where JACOB and his father restore classic trucks was leveled; the two trucks inside were also destroyed. JACOB LYDA, now based in NASHVILLE, still owns property in STEVENSON, and the roof of the house was smashed and distressed by trees and other debris, and all of the windows were blown out.
“Thankfully everyone in my family is okay,” said LYDA. “My family is working through major damage to our possessions and property - it’s going to be a long road. My thoughts & prayers go out to friends & neighbors who have lost their lives in this devastating tragedy.”
LYDA learned of the damage at his property, while at a show on TUESDAY night (4/26). He then immediately drove to ALABAMA to be with his family.
