Almost 31,000 runners lined up to run this past weekend’s COUNTRY MUSIC MARATHON in NASHVILLE on SATURDAY, APRIL 30th. There was solid representation from the music industry. ALL ACCESS’ JIM ASKER, KAREN GOODNER, and JACKIE CHAPMAN were all among the finishers for the half marathon. A special congrats to JACKIE, who completed her very first half marathon. Other finishers included BIGGER PICTURE ENTERTAINMENT’s JACK CHRISTOPHER and GAC-TV host SUZANNE ALEXANDER.
Congrats to all the runners, many who run for various charity organizations. Next up on the agenda for JIM ASKER is to run a full-marathon in DUBLIN, IRELAND this OCTOBER for TEAM in TRAINING, with all money raised going to the LEUKEMIA & LYMPHOMA SOCIETY. His goal is $25,000, and if you’d like to donate, all money goes to cancer research. Just click here.
By the way, the full-marathon (26.2 miles), was won by DAVID KELLUM of KENYA with a time of 2:17:41. If you’d like info on next year’s event, check it out here.
