KESC ENTERPRISES LLC is selling AC KOCD (OKLAHOMA'S 103.7)/OKEMAH, OK to EDUCATIONAL MEDIA FOUNDATION for $700,000 ($350,000 in a promissory note).
In other filings with the FCC, THE POWER FOUNDATION is buying another station, picking up the construction permit for a new noncommercial FM at ELBERTON, GA from LES SERAPHIM for $14,000.
KM RADIO OF LOVELADY LLC has applied to the FCC for a Silent STA for KHMR/LOVELADY, TX, which it says has been "hit particularly hard by the economic recession."
CALVARY CHAPEL OF TWIN FALLS, INC. has applied for a Silent STA for KPIJ/JUNCTION CITY, OR after the station went silent due to what the licensee believes was snow accumulating on the station's satellite dish the site was inaccessible due to weather).
And GREAT SCOTT BROADCASTING has applied to the FCC for an extension of its Silent STA for WXSH/GEORGETOWN, DE due to "continuing financial hardship."
