CLEAR CHANNEL/NEW ORLEANS has appointed veteran programmer DON GOSSELIN as OM for the cluster. GOSSELIN, who spent several months there immediately after HURRICANE KATRINA, is transferring from a similar position with CLEAR CHANNEL/WESTERN MASSACHUSETTS.
"We have a great team in place with super programmers and some of the best radio stations in the country." GOSSELIN said. "My thanks to DICK LEWIS and JON ZELLNER for this tremendous and unique opportunity. DICK is one of the most respected and trusted broadcasters in the country and I look forward to learning from him. I will miss the programming team here is MASSACHUSETTS, but I am anxious to get started."
"Our seven-station cluster in NEW ORLEANS is a unique blend of stations and formats," CC/NEW ORLEANS Pres./Market Manager DICK LEWIS said. "It was critical that we find an OM who could understand the flair of NEW ORLEANS and was extremely well experienced in multiple formats. DON is the perfect match to our needs. He was with the cluster right after KATRINA and knows what the city endured. DON brings an open, fresh approach that will continue to build our brands."
