Construction Permits, Translators Change Hands

Some Deals

LIVING FAITH FELLOWSHIP AND OUTREACH MINISTRIES, INC. is selling the construction permit for a new FM in CONSTANTINE, MI to CHRISTIAN RADIO FRIENDS, INC. for $50,000.

In other filings with the FCC, REFUGE MEDIA GROUP is selling noncommercial FM construction permits for WRFR/GRAND RAPIDS, MN and KSRJ/ARLINGTON, SD to CJTL MEDIA for $100 each.

EDGEWATER BROADCASTING, INC. is selling FM translator W282AT/HILTON HEAD ISLAND, SC to MONTEREY LICENSES, LLC for $35,000.  The seller is also selling W254BO/PRINCETON, IN to BLS ENTERTAINMENT, INC. for $20,000.

RADIO ASSIST MINISTRY, INC. is selling FM translator W268BF/DEMOPOLIS, AL to RED MOUNTAIN BROADCASTING, LLC for $32,000.

And filing to extend Silent STAs were BIRACH BROADCASTING CORPORATION (WPON-A/WALLED LAKE, MI); CALVARY CHAPEL OF TWIN FALLS, INC. (W289AJ/DANVILLE, VA); and LIVING PROOF, INC. (K267AQ/CONWAY SUMMIT, CA).

Not yet filed with the FCC, and after several abortive attempts at a deal, silent KDJQ-A/MERIDIAN-BOISE has been sold by court-ordered auction through GREG MERRILL of MEDIA SERVICES GROUP.  The purchaser is TERRY W. MATHIS, former CITADEL/SALT LAKE CITY Director of Sales, and the price is $139,500.  MERRILL served as receiver and representative of former owner TRI STATE MANAGEMENT, LLC.
