Roberto Neri To Head New Eagle-i Music Publishing

Documentary and televised live concert producer EAGLE ROCK ENTERTAINMENT has launched a publishing division to be called EAGLE-i MUSIC, reports MUSIC WEEK. It will be headed up by former BUG MUSIC U.K. GM and VP/International ROBERTO NERI.
EAGLE-i will focus on catalog acquisitions and administration deals as well as signing and developing new talent, ideally signing artists to 360 deals that can best utilize of EAGLE ROCK’s links in the broadcasting and compilation markets.
"There is an opportunity in the market for another indie publisher -- and I believe that EAGLE-i will be able to stand out from the crowd because of our links and history in the worldwide entertainment business," EAGLE ROCK Founder/Chairman TERRY SHAND said. "Publishing complements everything we do already at EAGLE ROCK, we already have a good physical, digital and television divisions and it [publishing] will work well alongside them."
NERI said. "One thing that I will be taking with me from my time at BUG is the importance of working with a strong and well-rounded catalog which covers all genres. As a result, when we do sign up catalogs and artists you can be assured they will be very diverse."
