Brad Paisley To Premiere Video For 'Old Alabama' At NASCAR Race Saturday

ARISTA/NASHVILLE artist BRAD PAISLEY is releasing his 9th studio album, “This Is Country Music,” on MONDAY (5/23) and he is making a pit stop in CHARLOTTE, NC on SATURDAY (5/21) to premiere his latest video.

PAISLEY will attend the NASCAR SPRINT ALL-STAR RACE to world premiere his new video, “Old Alabama,” on multiple platforms, including SPEED, NASCAR.com and the world’s largest HD video board at the CHARLOTTE MOTOR SPEEDWAY.

The song features the group ALABAMA and they contribute to the new video with a visual road trip down memory lane as ALABAMA music videos from the 1980s play in the background as PAISLEY and ALABAMA perform. Images of PAISLEY are digitally composited into the original videos. The video was shot on country roads in CHARLOTTE and several takes took place at HENDRICK MOTOR SPORTS COMPLEX in CONCORD, NC. 

PAISLEY will be interviewed on SPEED from 5-6 (ET) and immediately following the video premiere on SPEED, the online premiere takes place exclusively on the SPEED broadband channel on NASCAR.com and can be streamed throughout the weekend. Prior to the NASCAR SPRINT ALL-STAR RACE start, 9p (ET) on SPPED, fans on hand at the speedway will view the music video at approximately 8:50p (ET) on the world’s largest HD video board.

Artist royalties from the digital single sales of “Old Alabama” are being donated for tornado relief via the AMERICAN RED CROSS. And to further assist tornado victims, THE NASCAR FOUNDATION has launched NASCAR UNITES through which the motorsports community is raising money in exchange for NASCAR UNITES wristbands. To date, the NASCAR industry has raised more than $400,000 in support of tornado relief.

He is also scheduled to perform on ABC-TV’s “Good Morning America,” CBS-TV’s “The Late Show With DAVID LETTERMAN” and FOX NEWS’ “HANNITY” on TUESDAY (5/24). On WEDNESDAY (5/25), he will perform for the ladies of ABC-TV’s “The View.” On his visits to “Good Morning America,” “LETTERMAN,” and “The View,” PAISLEY will be joined by ALABAMA.
