THE HELPLINE is selling the construction permit for a new FM in HEBRON, IN to THE HURD FAMILY FOUNDATION INC. for undisclosed consideration.
In other filings with the FCC, TALKING INFORMATION CENTER, INCORPORATED is transferring low power FM WRRS-LP/PITTSFIELD, MA to BERKSHIRE BENEVOLENT ASSOCIATION FOR THE BLIND, INC. for consideration of continuation of station operations after closing.
FARMWORKER EDUCATIONAL RADIO NETWORK, INC. has requested Silent STAs for KBHH/KERMAN, CA and KRIT/PARKER, AZ, which went silent in NOVEMBER due to financial reasons. Sister RADIO CAMPESINA BAKERSFIELD, INC. has also asked for a Silent STA for KBDS/TAFT, CA, which also went dark in NOVEMBER.
And CUMULUS has requested an extension of its Silent STA for WTOD-A/HARTSVILLE, SC, saying that it has not resumed broadcasting under its previous 5 watt STA for financial reasons and will resume when it can rebuild the station with its full 1,000-watt licensed facilities. The station went dark last SEPTEMBER 30th.
