TALK RADIO NETWORK SYNDICATION's AMERICA'S RADIO NEWS NETWORK has launched its 6-9p (ET) news block, giving ARNN nine hours of continuous coverage weekdays noon through 9p (ET). The latest block launched MAY 9th for the 6-9p slot. CEO MARK MASTERS said, "Stations love the long-form news product so much they are asking for more of it, sooner. We are stunned by the high demand!" Coupled with TRN's AMERICA'S MORNING NEWS, the company is now offering 12 hours of live news with another three-hour block in the works.
The noon-3p block is anchored by former FOX NEWS RADIO anchor LORI LUNDIN and former CBS O&O KTVT (TV) (CBS 11)/DALLAS-FORT WORTH anchor and conservative commentator CHRIS SALCEDO. On LUNDIN, the former KFBK-A/SACRAMENTO reporter, ARNN EVP, News and Programming JOHN MCCASLIN said, "I first heard ARNN's new co-anchor, LORI LUNDIN, when she was anchoring top-of-the-hour and breaking news stories on FOX NEWS RADIO. ARNN is extremely fortunate to have somebody of her caliber join the team -- a news anchor who possesses a rare, unwavering reputation for accurate, complete, and unbiased reporting. LORI LUNDIN is the exception, not the norm, for members of the WASHINGTON Press Corps."
MASTERS added that LUNDIN "is a veteran radio news anchor bringing years of experience, reporting breaking news stories and events, to our all-news syndicated radio network. The news block format allows LUNDIN to cover 10 to 12 stories with 4 to 6 audio actualities every 15 minutes -- meaning the perfect PPM solution for our A.D.D. world."
