Clear Channel Takes Over Hotlanta

If you can't find your favorite CLEAR CHANNEL Management or Programming Exec this week, it's because most of them are in ATLANTA, beginning TODAY (5/2) through THURSDAY (5/4) at company meetings. While some new initiatives will surely be forthcoming from this talented gathering, it's also likely that some key personnel changes could be nailed down.
One can't help but wonder if the long-vacant Top 40 WHYI (Y100)/MIAMI PD post won't be decided at these meetings. Also, will a final decision on a new morning show at Y100 to replace FOOTY be made. ALL ACCESS hears syndication options are on the table.
And, while Top 40 WKSC (103.5 KISS-FM)/CHICAGO in-house consultant and temporary PD STEVE PERUN is hanging out, you can expect him to be holding interviews to find his successor. Word is that PERUN only wants to handle the day-to-day through the SPRING ARBITRON, ending JUNE 21st. But, will the person who eventually gets the 103.5 KISS-FM PD post come from within CLEAR CHANNEL?
