Lenco Media Releases Internet Radio App For iPhone And iPad

LENCO MOBILE INC. has released its new RADIOLOYALTY Internet radio app in the APPLE iTUNES APP STORE. The new RADIOLOYALTY app works on both iPHONES and iPADS and allows users to tune in to their favorite Internet radio stations and earn RADIOLOYALTY points at the same time. The app is free.
"When we set out to create our iPHONE/iPAD app, we really wanted to provide listeners with an easy, reliable and high quality way to listen to their favorite stations. There are lots of Internet radio apps in the marketplace; what sets the RADIOLOYALTY app apart is that we work directly with the broadcaster so we can provide higher quality streaming and make sure that the station will be available at all times," said LENCO MEDIA Pres. The market opportunity for mobile Internet radio is enormous. According to the INFINITE DIAL 2011, a study performed by ARBITRON and EDISON RESEARCH, an estimated 89 million Americans listen to Internet radio each month, and 19% of cell phone owners use their phone to listen to Internet radio. In fact, some companies in the Internet radio space, such as PANDORA, have indicated that more than half of their listening occurs through mobile devices.
