Prosecutors Drop Charges Against Talk Host In 'Town Hall Meeting' Scuffle

Charges against veteran talk host NICOLE SANDLER for her dispute with Rep. ALLEN WEST (R-FL) at a "town hall meeting" on APRIL 26th have been dropped, SANDLER said this weekend. SANDLER said that she was notified last week that prosecutors had dropped the charges and added that she will be discussing her treatment at the hands of the BROWARD COUNTY sheriff's office and jail guards "at another time" and will pursue action against one guard in particular.
SANDLER, the former AIR AMERICA RADIO and WINZ-A/MIAMI host who hosts a show at radioornot.com and is a frequent fill-in for PREMIERE RADIO NETWORKS' RANDI RHODES, tried to ask WEST questions but was rebuffed because the questions had not been submitted in advance; she was arrested for "trespassing after warning" after a police officer told her to leave the building and she objected to being pushed by the officer.
