Bible teaching ministry A BIBLE ANSWER has offered failed "Doomsday prophet" HAROLD CAMPING $1 million for his network of 66 FAMILY RADIO stations, CHRISTIAN POST reports. The ministry would assume ownership of the stations on OCT. 22nd, the day after CAMPING's new date for Doomsday.
"After taking the money of his supporters, let HAROLD give up all he has to show he believes what he is preaching/ A BIBLE ANSWER Administrator RICHARD MYERS wrote on his website. "He does not or else he would sell ... We wish to carry on where HAROLD CAMPING left off. We will be presenting the gospel truth, the same conservative Christian music, Bible readings from the KING JAMES BIBLE, and we will never set a date for the soon coming of JESUS."
MYERS, who first offered CAMPING $1 million for Family stations in FEBRUARY, three months before CAMPING's predicted MAY 21st Rapture, also called on the Family Radio board of directors to essentially fire CAMPING from its board and stop airing his teachings.
"He is not able to spread these false doctrines without their direct involvement," MYERS said. "There is a great responsibility resting on them to do what is right," said the Bible Answer administrator. By allowing CAMPING to continue on the air and on the board, they are guilty of all that HAROLD CAMPING is guilty of ... "A false prophet once is enough, but twice is too much."
