Steve Swenson Named SVP/Market Manager At CBS Radio Washington, D.C.
Sam Rogers Steps Down From The Position

STEVE SWENSON has been named as SVP/Market Manager for CBS RADIO/WASHINGTON, D.C. SWENSON, a 30-year veteran of the radio industry who currently oversees the Company’s two all-News stations in NEW YORK (WCBS-A and WINS-A), will now take on the day-to-day responsibility of managing CBS RADIO’s five stations in the nation's capital -- Hot AC WIAD, Sports WJFK, Spanish WLZL, Urban WPGC and News/Talk WHFS-A. The appointment is effective on MONDAY, JUNE 13th.

SWENSON replaces SAM ROGERS who has decided to resign from his position as SVP/Market Manager of the cluster. He will remain in his current role until FRIDAY, JUNE 10th to help prepare for the transition.
