CBS Urban WPEG (POWER 98)/CHARLOTTE's NO LIMIT LARRY and THE MORNING MADDHOUSE will partner with THE SALVATION ARMY for the 5th annual 28-hour broadcast to help raise money and awareness for CHARLOTTE's homeless. Starting THURSDAY JUNE 2nd, they will begin broadcasting from THE CENTER OF HOPE at THE SALVATION ARMY WOMEN's SHELTER encouraging listeners to donate money, towels, blankets and toiletries. This facility is currently over capacity.
"The MORNING MADDHOUSE and POWER 98 are heavily committed to serving our communities," said OM TERRI AVERY. "And if it takes them staying up for 28 hours in 95 degree heat then that's what they'll do to raise awareness and funds for the shelter."
