PITTSBURGH Mayor LUKE RAVENSTAHL is launching a weekly radio address that will air on CBS RADIO Talk KDKA-A/PITTSBURGH. The addresses will be taped for airing FRIDAY, SATURDAY, and SUNDAY evenings at 7:06p (ET), starting TOMORROW (6/3), and will also be available at the City website, Facebook, and Twitter pages. The addresses will also be made available to other media outlets.
“I am extremely excited to be given this opportunity to speak directly to citizens on topics that are important to them, such as the work we are doing to advance our City’s Third Renaissance,” RAVENSTAHL said. “It is my goal that through these weekly addresses, our residents will not only become more aware of the work we are doing to improve their quality of life, but better understand the challenges that face City government.”
"We at KDKA are so proud to be able to give the Mayor the chance to directly address the people of PITTSBURGH each week in a very unique way and without filters,” said KDKA Director of News/Talk Programming MARSHALL ADAMS. “It's another way for us to connect our audience and tell the story of PITTSBURGH."
