DAVID CARUS & ASSOCIATES has entered a Consent Decree with the FCC resolving issues of unauthorized transfer of control of two FM translators and an STL to COMMUNITY RADIO FOUNDATION OF FLORIDA, INC.
CARUS allegedly turned over control of W264AS/ROCKLEDGE, FL, W272BA/COCOA BEACH, FL, and WQEQ835/INDIALANTIC, FL to COMMUNITY RADIO FOUNDATION on NOVEMBER 19, 2004 without Commission approval. Both translators have gone silent due to financial problems, and CARUS has agreed to make a "voluntary contribution" of $6,500 to the U.S. Treasury and to creating a compliance plan to settle the matter.
