ALL ACCESS has learned that a new FM will be signing on in early JULY at 106.5 in the CORPUS CHRISTI market. Previously KTKY, at 106.1 in REFUGRIO, TX, it was moved to 106.5 in TAFT, TX at 50kw with new calls KYRK this past APRIL.

A website is active at 1065theshark.com promoting the upcoming sign-on, and is registered to BOGEY BROADCASTING out of CORPUS CHRISTI. BOGEY BROADCASTING has also obtained a registered trademark for "106-5 THE SHARK." There are also TWITTER and FACEBOOK accounts set up in the station name.

Where will the format wheel land? ALL ACCESS hears Oldies, Mainstream Rock, Classic Hits and Classic Rock are the reported format possibilities.
