Triple A Conventions Update

Details are continuing to emerge for the 3rd annual FMQB TRIPLE A CONFERENCE, held at the ST. JULIEN HOTEL AND SPA in BOULDER, CO, AUGUST 10th-13th. For the 19th year, the Triple A community at-large will gather to discuss the issues facing the format and to watch both established artists and newcomers in a variety of settings.
COLLECTIVE SOUNDS’ new label head TOM "GROVER" BIERY will be the keynote interview to kick things off on WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON (8/10,) and the AWARDS BRUNCH will close the gathering on SATURDAY MORNING (8/13).
The performance lineup is now complete and includes JOSEPH ARTHUR, ZEE AVI, BAHAMAS, THE BELLE BRIGADE, BODEANS, BURLAP TO CASHMERE, JOHN BUTLER TRIO, JEFF BRIDGES, MARC BROUSSARD, LINDSEY BUCKINGHAM, BRANDI CARLILE, GARY CLARK JR., DEVOTCHKA, FITZ & THE TANTRUMS, HUGO, LISSIE, BOBBY LONG, JAMES MADDOCK, EDWIN MCCAIN, MATT NATHANSON, NEEDTOBREATHE, REBECCA PIDGEON, SCARS ON 45, TROMBONE SHORTY, THE WILDERNESS OF MANITOBA, TRIXIE WHITELY and YUNA.

The 2011 AMERICANA MUSIC FESTIVAL is set for OCTOBER 12th-15th in NASHVILLE.
Details of the panels and performances are a way off yet, but the AMERICANA MUSIC AWARD NOMINEES have been announced.
