Taylor Swift Donates $50,000 to St. Jude Childrenâ€™s Research Hospital

BIG MACHINE artist TAYLOR SWIFT partnered with ACM LIFTING LIVES on SATURDAY, JUNE 11th, during her sold-out stadium show at FORD FIELD in DETROIT, and donated a total of $50,000 to ST. JUDE CHILDREN’S RESEARCH HOSPITAL.
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR of ACM LIFTING LIVES, ERIN SPAHN, congratulated SWIFT again on her ACM “ENTERTAINER OF THE YEAR” award, and presented her with the ACM LIFTING LIVES ENTERTAINER OF THE YEAR MATCHING GIFT, which was a check for $25,000 to donate to the charity of her choice. SWIFT chose to donate the money to ST. JUDE, and also matched the donation with a personal check for $25,000, bringing the total to $50,000.
This is the third year the ACM LIFTING LIVES ENTERTAINER OF THE YEAR MATCHING GIFT has been in existence. Past recipients of the grant have included the C.A.T.S. FOUNDATION, COMMUNITY FOUNDATION FOR MIDDLE TENNESSEE, and MUSICARES.
