Baseball Hall of Famer and former ESPN analyst JOE MORGAN has joined SPORTS USA for a new weekday sports talk show, "THE JOE MORGAN SHOW," launching AUGUST 22nd. ADLARGE MEDIA will handle national sales for the show, which will launch with a guest list for the first week that will feature WILLIE MAYS, HANK AARON, SANDY KOUFAX, BOB GIBSON and JOHNNY BENCH.
"While I'm best known for baseball, I've always had a love of all sports," said MORGAN, who was named the NATIONAL LEAGUE Most Valuable Player in 1975 and 1976 with the CINCINNATI REDS and also played for the HOUSTON ASTROS, PHILADELPHIA PHILLIES, SAN FRANCISCO GIANTS, and OAKLAND ATHLETICS in his 22-year career. "I'm fortunate that my career has allowed me to meet some of the most amazing people, and I have heard so many remarkable stories. With my new show, I am looking forward to sharing these stories, as well as speaking with today's sports personalities and newsmakers."
"JOE is a well known and respected broadcaster whose opinions and overall knowledge of sports will captivate sports fans nationwide," said LARRY KAHN, President of Sports USA. "This platform will allow him to reach and engage other sports enthusiasts."
"JOE has many years of experience working with advertisers and understands their goals," said GARY SCHONFELD, founder and CEO of ADLARGE.
