CAPITOL/EMI RECORDS/NASHVILLE has announced that MIKE KRINIK, most recently of ENTERCOM’s KBWF/SAN FRANCISCO, will be returning to take the Northeast for EMI RECORDS, and will report to VP/Promotion ANGELA LANGE. KRINIK's official title will be NASHVILLE Regional Director, Northeast Promotion. He takes over for BRIAN RHOADES, now at BLACK RIVER ENTERTAINMENT.
This is a return to CAPITOL for KRINIK, who worked the West Coast for the label before taking the job to program Country KBWF (THE WOLF). KRINIK was at CAPITOL from 2005-2009. Prior to that he was PD at ENTERCOM Country WGGY/SCRANTON-WILKES BARRE, PA.
"It's always special when you're able to bring back a member of the family,” said SVP Promotion for CAPITOL/EMI RECORDS/NASHVILLE STEVE HODGES. “MIKE is a seasoned vet, a true promotion/marketing professional, and I am thrilled to bring him back to where he belongs, in our building.”
“I am so blessed & excited to come back and reunite with my CAPITOL/EMI NASHVILLE family,” said KRINIK. “I'm looking forward to beginning new relationships & reconnecting with friends I have missed since living on the West Coast. Most of all, after 18 months away, I cannot wait to hit the gong on the 11th floor.”
KRINIK will be in his new position starting JULY 11th and can be reached at mike.krinik@emicap.com and (615)269-2083.
