'Into Tomorrow' Gets Into China ... But Can They Get Out?

"Into Tomorrow" Host/Exec. Producer DAVE GRAVELINE and Producer ROB ALMANZA and I spent the 4th of JULY detained in TIANANMEN SQUARE in CHINA!  The two were recording liners at THE GREAT WALL and at the SQUARE, where they were approached by two police officers on SEGWAYS and two vans full of about 20 officers.

The police briefly took their passports while they looked into what they were ding by interrogating their Chinese interpreter. Although they were given back their passports and let go, plain clothes "agents" followed them around for the rest of the day.
 
The two are also in CHINA to cover the SINOCES Consumer Electronics Show. Details will air next week on the syndicated Into Tomorrow.
