COWBOYBILLSRADIO.COM Founder/DJ WOODY NELSON is currently under scrutiny for his attempt to stage a benefit concert at the HUNTSVILLE, AL SPEEDWAY on AUGUST 26th-27th. SPEEDWAY owner MARTIN PIERCE canceled the "STORM AID" concert when he discovered that scheduled acts WILLIE NELSON, GRETCHEN WILSON and BIG & RICH weren't actually booked by the promoter, reports the HUNTSVILLE TIMES.
NELSON, whose promotion name is STEVEN BLOOD, posted on his websites that the concert is being moved to a larger venue in GEORGIA. Meanwhile, the NORTH ALABAMA BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU is looking into the STORM AID concert and promoter after finding out that only two of the eight promoted on BLOOD's websites and FACEBOOK pages listed STORM AID on their calendars for AUG. 26th-27th.
