Compassion International Holds Music Industry Luncheon

Mt. WILSON BROADCASTERS Country KKGO/LOS ANGELES PD TONYA CAMPOS was one of the main speakers at a luncheon today (7/22) in NASHVILLE, for the organization COMPASSION INTERNATIONAL.
KKGO was one of the first stations to sign on as a participant and in 2009 helped sponsor 265 children through a station radiothon for COMPASSION and now makes it a yearly event. CAMPOS personally sponsors two girls from NICARAGUA, “It’s important that they know someone truly cares about them,” said CAMPOS. “I go back each year and visit them.”
Some of the other music industry executives in attendance were former Chairman of SONY MUSIC NASHVILLE JOE GALANTE and BNA RECORDS/NASHVILLE VP/Promotion BRYAN FRASHER.
