BMI in NASHVILLE has hired KEVIN FORBES and BRIAN PETERSON to executive positions. FORBES will serve as the Senior Enterprise Architect in BMI’s Information Services Group and will report to Vice President of Product & Application Development, CAMELLIA PETTY. PETERSON joins as Senior Product Manager for the Production Management department, and will report to Assistant Vice President of Product Management, NANCY MERRILL.
FORBES will serve as a bridge between different departments, and will help polish BMI’s enterprise architecture. PETERSON will help drive BMI’s social media and ecommerce product development.
PETTY said, “KEVIN is an award-winning strategist. His wealth of experience as an enterprise architect will be an invaluable resource to BMI. KEVIN’s vision combines the macro and the micro, fostering a bird’s eye awareness of BMI’s paradigm enriched by a detailed appreciation of our many moving parts. We look forward to incorporating his ideas into BMI’s ever-evolving operational fabric.”
MERRILL added, “BRIAN is a true leader. BMI offers an unparalleled menu of products to a diverse consumer base, spanning songwriters, composers, music publishers and licensees. BRIAN is more than familiar with our target audiences—he’s actually developed new ways to better serve them. His entrepreneurial background and successes will sharpen BMI’s already considerable competitive edge.”
FORBES has more than nine years of experience as an enterprise architect, most recently for PROLIFICS and HEALTHWAYS. PETERSON is known for cofounding BANDBOX, which enabled artists as TAYLOR SWIFT and KEITH URBAN to sell music directly to their fans from within their official websites.
