T.J. MARTELL FOUNDATION CEO LAURA HEATHERLY has announced staff changes for the Southern Region office. CINDY FRANCIS LOVELACE has been tapped as Dir./Development for the Southern Region and MELISSA GOODWIN has been promoted from Office and Events Manager for the Southern Region to Dir./Administration for the entire Foundation.
LOVELACE has served on the Board Of Directors for T.J. MARTELL for the past four years and is also a six year breast cancer survivor. She has over thirty years combined experience in media, marketing, promotions and event management.
“I have a great passion for the mission of the T.J. MARTELL FOUNDATION, not only because of my personal experience, but also because of the many survivors I continue to meet. While many strides have been made in cancer, leukemia, and AIDS research, it is important that no crucial work be lost for lack of funding. My goal is to not only build on the exciting events and programs already established in the Southern Region, but to encourage new ideas, and further educate the public and private sector about the T.J. MARTELL FOUNDATION,” said LOVELACE.
MELISSA GOODWIN has been with the organization since 2005. “I have been blessed over the past six years to work for the T.J. MARTELL FOUNDATION and see firsthand our fundraising efforts turned into research dollars at work. I am excited as I enter into this new role as Director of Administration to help all three offices expand and make the T.J. MARTELL FOUNDATION name known to more people around the UNITED STATES, thus raising more funds to help fulfill T.J.’s wish of finding a cure for cancer,” said GOODWIN.
