Eugene McDaniels Dead At 76

Singer/songwriter EUGENE McDANIELS has passed. McDANIELS, whose mellifluous voice took him to the top of the charts several times in the early 1960s, was probably best known as the man who wrote “Feel Like Makin’ Love” for ROBERTA FLACK in 1974. He had a four-octave singing range and has his own pop hits with “A Hundred Pounds Of Clay” and “Tower Of Strength,” both in 1961.
He was born EUGENE BOOKER McDANIELS in KANSAS CITY, KN. He died at his home in KITTERY POINT, ME. McDANIELS was 76.
