RCA/NASHVILLE artist JAKE OWEN’s single “Eight Second RIde,” has been certified Gold by the RECORDING INDUSTRY ASSOCIATION OF AMERICA (RIAA) with over 500,000 downloads. It was also recently announced that his current single “Barefoot Blue Jean Night” has also gone gold.
JAKE celebrated his success on TUESDAY (8/2) by performing several songs from his forthcoming third studio album at “JAKE ON THE LAKE,” an industry event held just outside NASHVILLE at ANCHOR HIGH MARINA. After his performance, JAKE was surprised by executives from SONY MUSIC NASHVILLE with two gold digital single plaques.
“It is awesome to feel the support from everyone when we are out on the road,” said JAKE. “It is equally as awesome to feel the support of the music community. I’m so grateful that I get to hang out with such an amazingly talented group of people everywhere I go.”
