Arbitron To Reissue Lafayette, LA Spring Report
August 5, 2011 at 7:47 AM (PT)
ARBITRON has found issues with the SPRING '11 LAFAYETTE, LA, Metro, and will reissue the book. In a letter to subscribers, ARBITRON wrote:
In multiple SPRING 2011 diaries, LAFAYETTE, LA, Metro diarykeepers recorded entries of "KJCB," "KJCB 770" and "770"; these entries were credited to KJCB-A, FCC-licensed to broadcast over 770. ARBITRON has recently confirmed that home-to-metro KJCB-A was not broadcasting over its 770 frequency during any portion of the SPRING 2011 survey period (MARCH 31st through JUNE 22nd). Because KJCB-A was not broadcasting during the survey, these entries should be assigned as Unidentified Listening and the station should not be reported in the SPRING 2011 LAFAYETTE, LA, Radio Market Report.
On WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 10th at 1p ET, ARBITRON will release a revised SPRING 2011 LAFAYETTE, LA, Radio Market Report in which "KJCB," "KJCB 770" and "770" entries originally credited to KCJB-A are credited as Unidentified Listening and the station is no longer reported with audience estimates. Audience estimates for all other stations are not affected.
Revised SPRING 2011 MAXIMI$ER, Media Professional, and TAPSCAN estimates will also release on AUGUST 10. A revised SPRING 2011 Summary Data Set will be released to all original recipients.
Please note that the previously released SPRING 2011 LAFAYETTE, LA, audience estimates will not be available for "live" access via ARBITRON Web applications starting at 3p ET on TUESDAY, AUGUST 9th. Subscribers who have downloaded the previously released report are reminded to deinstall the report before downloading revised estimates.
We regret any inconvenience this may cause. Questions may be directed to your ARBITRON representative.
