Conrad Murray Trial Judge Wants Opening Statements On Sept. 26th

LOS ANGELES Superior Court Judge MICHAEL PASTOR, who is presiding over the trial of CONRAD MURRAY -- the late MICHAEL JACKSON's personal physician -- is expecting opening statements to being the week of SEPTEMBER 26th.

PASTOR wants jury selection to start on SEPTEMBER 8th.

"That is still the go-date," PASTOR said. "I want to keep a short leash on this case."
