LBI Media Radio Revenues Slip In Second Quarter

LBI MEDIA overall net revenues rose 2.7% to $31.5 million in second quarter 2011, but radio revenues declined 7.3% to $15.2 million. Declines in ad revenue in DALLAS and HOUSTON were blamed for the slip. TV revenues rose 14.3% to $16.3 million, credited to increases at ESTRELLATV.
Net loss nearly doubled from $2.7 million to $5.2 million. EBITDA increased 5.2% to $10.3 million, but radio EBITDA fell 2.8% to $8 million.
