92 ZEW/Mobile Sold To LMA Partner

BARRY WOOD's BALDWIN BROADCASTING COMPANY is selling AA WZEW (92 ZEW)/FAIRHOPE-MOBILE, AL out of bankruptcy to KENNETH S. JOHNSON's .COM+, L.L.C. for $2.484 million (less the balance of a $465,750. loan by the buyer to the seller). 

JOHNSON, who also owns Sports WNSP in the MOBILE market, has been LMAing the station and will continue under a time brokerage agreement until closing.

Meanwhile, new WZEW PD GENE MURRELL slides into PM drive and MD LEE ANN WATERRS shifts to middays.
