Former WGTZ(Z-93) and WXEG (103.9 THE X)/DAYTON, OH morning host SCOTT MALLORY has his first book out, "Tales of a Washed-Up Neverwas." The humorous tome follows fictional radio host BEN BETTER who gets downsized and becomes a stay-at-home dad to help support his wife’s thriving career. The comedy explores the seedy side of radio with stories of backstabbing managers, dead-weight co-hosts, lowlife competitors, insane listeners, and unpredictable celebrities.
"I always wanted to write but never had the time," MALLORY said. "When corporate blew up Z-93 and let the staff go, suddenly I had all the time in the world."
"Tales of a Washed-Up Neverwas" is available now in paperback for $9.99 at AMAZON.COM and CREATESPACE.COM; a KINDLE version is coming soon. It also has a fan page on FACEBOOK.
