CMT Hires Eliot Goldberg

Television industry veteran ELIOT GOLDBERG has joined CMT as the SVP/Developing and Programming, and will report to EVP/Development and Programming JAYSON DINSMORE. He will be in charge of developing new programming for the network and will be based in CMT’s SANTA MONICA, CA office.
GOLDBERG was most recently the VP/Development and Original Programming for TV LAND, and has also served as EVP/Programming and Development for RYAN SEACREST PRODUCTIONS. He developed and executive-produced hit shows such as E!’s “Keeping Up With The KARDAHSIANS, and
“DENISE RICHARDS: It’s Complicated.” GOLDBERG started his career as a producer and launched the long-running syndicated hit, “Access Hollywood.”
DINSMORE said, “ELIOT’s skill at identifying, developing and delivering hit shows is evidenced by his incredible track record. His fingerprints are all over some of the hottest shows on television, including ‘Hot In CLEVELAND’at TV LAND. I’m thrilled to welcome ELIOT to CMT as we continue to take huge, aggressive strides in our original programming development.”
GOLDBERG’s new position will be in effect on SEPTEMBER 1st.
