Wayne Coy To Wed During An Oakland A's Game

Congratulations and best wishes to COAST RADIO COMPANY AC KKIQ-KKDV/SAN FRANCISCO wakeup-meister WAYNE COY and his soon to be Mrs. NANCY OSBORNE-FRAGUS on their upcoming nuptials at -- get this -- on the field at an OAKLAND ATHLETICS baseball game.
Said COY, "In NOVEMBER of 2010, after staying in sporadic contact as friends over the years, we reconnected via FACEBOOK. In MAY, I took the initiative to ask NANCY for her hand in marriage at the only place that made sense. Some may say the scoreboard proposal is tacky, but for us, it only made sense to do it where we had our first adventure together. In lights, for all to see at the A’s game. She said yes ... thankfully."
Now, the couple are bringing it all full circle and making team history at the same time. Since the A's moved to OAKLAND in 1968, there has never been an on-field wedding. Says FRAGUS, "we have people coming from all over the country and even CANADA to see this happen. Friends, family and of course lots of people who listen to WAYNE's show in the morning. It’s larger than life and something no one will ever forget. I hope the guys on the A's and TIGERS don't mind sharing the field with us for a little while."
