Talk WENG-A/ENGLEWOOD, FL midday "FRONT AND CENTER" host ART CRONK exits after what he says is management's order to include pro-illegal immigration viewpoints on his show, according to the ENGLEWOOD SUN-HERALD. CRONK had been with the station for 20 years and opposes illegal immigration.
WENG owner VIPER COMMUNICATIONS Pres. KEN KUENZIE tells ALL ACCESS that CRONK is a "very good air talent" but that he "was never told he could not express his opinion on the air. It was asked that he provide a 'fair and balanced' forum for his discussion on illegal immigration viewpoints" and to stop playing Mexican music while discussing the topic.
