WFIL Reunion A Success

Last night (9/18) was the WFIL-A/PHILADELPHIA reunion party. WFIL alumni MEL KLAWANSKY, who was an engineer/board op at FAMOUS 56, told ALL ACCESS it was a great time.
"To those of you who were able to attend last night's WFIL reunion, it was my pleasure to see all of you once again. There were a few who were absent from previous reunions, who came last night. To you, I can't believe it has been that long since we've seen each other. It was great to see you! It was smaller that the last one, but still about 75 of you were present. And I use the word 'present' because it is a gift that we all enjoy doing this every five years. For those who couldn't make it, we missed you, and hopefully we will see you at the 2016 WFIL 'Family' Reunion. I will continue to do my best to organize these gatherings until you all stop coming," said KLAWANSKY.
"I would like to make mention that for me, the absence of our dear friend and family member, TOM MONAGHAN, was very noticeable, as he is the one who began doing these reunions every five years since 1987. He was one of the nicest men I have ever known. I miss him always, but especially last night," added KLAWANSKY. "Stay tuned to FAMOUS56.COM for continued updates, news and information about WFIL and our 'family'. Many thanks to RON TURNER for all of his hard work in keeping that site alive for all of us."
