LINCOLN FINANCIAL MEDIA has added veteran radio and media executive JEFF DINETZ as SVP/GM of its MIAMI cluster of radio stations, including AC WLYF, Classic Hits WMXJ and Sports Talk WAXY-A. DINETZ succeeds DENNIS COLLINS, who is retiring from the company after 30 years of service.
DINETZ was most recently Pres./COO of the Radio and Interactive divisions of NEXTMEDIA OPERATING, INC.
"This was a very important decision for our company and especially for our people, as we transition from DENNIS COLLINS' exceptional 30-year run with us," said LFM Pres./CEO DON BENSON. "JEFF brings a wealth of experience on many levels. He's run a radio group, been a Regional VP, and served as both a GM and Dir./Sales in the #1 market. And his genuine passion for and staunch belief in the radio business are undeniable. We're very excited about having him as the next leader for our exceptional MIAMI team."
"This position gives me the opportunity to work for a great company in LINCOLN FINANCIAL MEDIA, an outstanding broadcaster in DON BENSON and three prestigious stations in MIAMI," said DINETZ. "I hope to build upon the foundation that DENNIS COLLINS established in his long tenure and am excited to work with the team of professionals at WLYF, WMXJ and WAXY."
DINETZ joins the company this month and begins in MIAMI in mid-OCTOBER.
