'A Prairie Home Companion' Sound Effects Master Tom Keith Dies

Condolences to family and friends of MINNESOTA PUBLIC RADIO/AMERICAN PUBLIC MEDIA "A PRAIRIE HOME COMPANION" sound effects master TOM KEITH, who died SUNDAY at his home in WOODBURY, MN at 64, according to the MINNEAPOLIS STAR TRIBUNE.
KEITH had worked with GARRISON KEILLOR since 1976, when the two worked on MPR's morning show. KEITH, as the character "JIM ED POOLE," remained with "THE MORNING SHOW" after DALE CONNELLY took KEILLOR's hosting slot and was with the show until its end in 2008. He also appeared as himself in the movie version of "A PRAIRIE HOME COMPANION."
