Radio and website contributor TARA MCNAMARA has joined movie ticketing and information website FANDANGO as a contributor, with a column called the "Family Film Mom." MCNAMARA has been serving as editor and founder of KidsPickFlicks.com, a review site written by children (including her own). She will write a weekly column for the site and will also serve as an on-air spokesperson for FANDANGO.
"This is a fantastic new addition to FANDANGO's team of contributors," said EVP/GM RICK BUTLER. "The first question a parent asks before buying movie tickets for his or her family is whether the movie is appropriate and enjoyable for children. In addition to the outstanding content on FANDANGO from our partner COMMON SENSE MEDIA, TARA's columns will provide a unique point-of-view -- infused with opinions from children themselves. This advice will be invaluable to moviegoers."
"As a mom myself, I know how valuable it can be to find trusted movie reviews and columns written with parents in mind," said MCNAMARA. "I am excited to share my perspective with FANDANGO's enormous audience of moviegoers."
MCNAMARA was the original voice of the CMT RADIO NETWORK and does weekly interview segments on radio stations on THURSDAYS and FRIDAYS. She has also been a frequent correspondent for VARIETY, CMT, SIRIUS, and THE REELZ CHANNEL.
