CLEAR CHANNEL Talk KNEW-A/SAN FRANCISCO and KSTE-A/SACRAMENTO morning hosts JACK ARMSTRONG and JOE GETTY dedicated their show TODAY (11/11) to veterans of the Armed Forces and fundraising for the FISHER HOUSE FOUNDATION. ARMSTRONG AND GETTY have been raising money for the organization building temporary housing for families of wounded soldiers near hospital facilities, with their "Drive for Our Wounded Vets" underway since NOVEMBER 2nd, exceeding the drive's $100,000 goal in less than one week, followed by a "$50K in 50 Hours" drive this week.
"God bless the ARMSTRONG AND GETTY audience for [their] generosity toward the FISHER HOUSE," said ARMSTRONG AND GETTY on their donation website. "The real goal of the drive is to make sure our wounded and sick warriors and vets can heal with families by their sides."
