All Access, DMR/Interactive, A&R Worldwide Announce 'Ria's Rising Stars Scholarship Program'
It's with great pleasure that ALL ACCESS, DMR/INTERACTIVE and A&R WORLDWIDE announce the formation of 'RIA'S RISING STARS SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM' to honor the memory of ALL ACCESS co-founder RIA DENVER and give deserving broadcast school students the chance to attend WORLDWIDE RADIO SUMMIT 2017 on MAY 3, 4, 5 at the HOTEL ROOSEVELT in HOLLYWOOD as beneficiaries of this scholarship program not only this year, but for future WORLDWIDE RADIO SUMMIT events.
ALL ACCESS President/Publisher JOEL DENVER said, "My deepest thanks to DMR/INTERACTIVE President ANDREW CURRAN for coming up with this terrific idea to honor RIA and to help forward the careers of those students with a true passion for broadcasting. And my sincere thanks to A&R WORLDWIDE founder SAT BISLA for joining us in founding 'RIA'S RISING STARS SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM' with enough seed money to get this started.
"As co-Founder of ALL ACCESS, RIA worked with the entire staff to foster growth in the radio and broadcast industries. 'RIA'S RISING STARS SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM' will serve to encourage and give needed opportunity for these future broadcasters to learn where the business is headed and network with the pros for many, many years to come."
DMR/INTERACTIVE President ANDREW CURRAN noted, "We are proud to honor RIA's memory in a meaningful way, while also supporting aspiring radio professionals. I'm looking forward to meeting our first class of RIA's RISING STARS."
And, A&R WORLDWIDE Founder/President SAT BISLA added, "Those who touch the lives of so many, in a positive and inspiring way, leave a legacy that stands beyond our time – RIA was one of those people. It gives me and the entire A&R WORLDWIDE team an absolute honor to join both JOEL DENVER and ANDREW CURRAN in providing a great opportunity to the next generation of broadcasters to learn from some of the world's 'best in class.' 'RIA’S RISING STARS SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM' is a great way to help us pave the path for the next generation of global broadcasters with a true passion and vision for the future for broadcasting."
