Seether

"Nobody Praying For Me" is the latest single from the South African rock group, Seether. Via Bicycle Music Company/Concord Music Group, the song is on their most recent sixth studio album entitled Isolate And Medicate. The band secured acclaimed rock producer Brendan O'Brien to oversee the recording of the disc. The beginnings of the album found the band using a more personal touch on the process, as front-man Shaun Morgan created his own home studio.
Morgan explains, "I actually built a room that I could write in. I personally pulled out the carpet, put in wood flooring, decorated and painted. After getting off the road, it was a process of preparation to get the environment just right. I made a place that I felt comfortable and creative in. I was able to be safe and isolated, concentrating on writing music instead of dealing with the distractions that come with daily life."
Seether was originally formed under the name Saron Gas until renaming it to Seether in 2002. They gained mainstream popularity in 2002 with their single "Fine Again" and their success was sustained in 2004 with the single "Broken". They have experienced continued success with #1 hits on the Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks chart such as "Remedy", "Fake It", and "Country Song".
