Stupid people, stupid places:
Sad news out of Taiwan where a gamer died at an Internet café, and no one noticed him for nine hours.
The body of CHEN RONG-YU was found slumped in a chair with his hands stretched out towards the keyboard and mouse.
Police say Chen's body had apparently been sitting there for up to nine hours without any of the 30 other people in the café noticing. They suspect a combination of fatigue, lack of movement and low temperatures in the cafe might've caused blood clots leading to cardiac arrest.
Police told the Tapei Times that when they arrived at the scene they found other gamers disinterested in the corpse and wanted to continue playing during the investigation. Now that's hardcore.
Gamers will want to know: Chen had been playing League of Legends. He was just 23.

RICKY MARTIN guest-stars on tonight's episode of "Glee," playing a Spanish teacher at McKinley High, performing “Sexy and I Know It” and a duet with Santana as well.
Also tonight: TV’s most-watched non-reality show, CBS-TV’s "NCIS," will mark its 200th episode with a show in which MARK HARMON's character, Jethro Gibbs, looks back on his life and wonders “what the world would have been like had things [in his life] happened differently.”
TV Line says the show features alternate realities, somewhat like "It's A Wonderful Life."We're less than a week away from the first made-for-TV documentary about the whole Costa Concordia cruise ship mess.
Deadline.com says the National Geographic cable channel will be doing the show, called "Italian Cruise Ship Disaster: The Untold Stories," Mon, Feb 13, examining the similarities and differences with the loss of the RMS Titanic, which went down 100 years ago this April. The Hollywood rumor mill:
Big rumors yesterday about HARRISON FORD coming back to do the remake of "Blade Runner" for RIDLEY SCOTT. Harrison originally played the replicant hunter Rick Deckard in the original, 1982 movie. But Deadline.com says the production company is denying the rumor and there have been "no discussions" with Ford at this point.
Bad luck:
A grandfather in Canada isn't happy about Netflix raising their rates. That's 'cause he just got a bill for over 10-thousand bucks!?
CNews says JOHN GIBSON's Netflix streaming bill is usually around 90-bucks a month. But, his jaw dropped when he saw his latest charges. He called Netflix to find out what the heck happened. It turns out he let his grandkids watch movies on his laptop while they were travelling cross-country. Apparently, Netflix charges six-bucks per megabyte when customers are "roaming." And, each film is about 400-megabytes total. That adds up to about 35-hundred bucks per movie.
Gibson pleaded his case to his wireless provider, SaskTel. His final bill was reduced down to only a thousand bucks. (Still)Grace notes:
CEE LO GREEN knows how to party. While he was in Indy for the Super Bowl, he and his posse hit up a strip club and dropped more than 10-thousand dollars. TMZ.com says that as soon as Cee Lo walked in, he wanted lap dances from the (quote), "baddest bitches in the club." (Marino)
