Anniversaries:
Mattel's Barbie doll debuted in stores (1959).
--THE BEATLES began their first British tour (1963), supporting TOMMY ROE and CHRIS MONTEZ. After only one date, they become the headliners.
--The first Ford Mustang rolled off the production line, 1964.Bet you didn't know that the Sunday after we move the clocks forward is one of the worst for church attendance. It's toughest on families with small children but church leaders tell ABC News attendance is down about 10-15 percent on average.
JENNIFER LOVE HEWITT loves her boobs. She told Maxim magazine that “they’ve always served me well. They’re good.” The actress’ favorite body parts are on full display in lingerie on the cover of the newest issue. This is her fourth time on the cover. Jennifer says she’s honored to be featured because “It’s my scale of how good I look.” Oh, and she claims men never hit on her. She says she’s “not really sure why.”

Like to paint your nails? Just don't try it on an airplane.
KTRK-TV says JEANIE DANIELS was on a flight from Los Angeles to Houston when she allegedly whipped out a bottle of nail polish. Witnesses say a flight attendant asked her to put the polish away because of the potent smell. But, that's when Daniels reportedly grabbed the polish and went into the bathroom to finish the job. The flight attendant confronted her about it as she exited the restroom. Police say Daniels became argumentative and started cursing.
Daniels found police officers waiting for her when she landed in Houston. She was handcuffed and detained for ten hours. The charges were later dropped. (Still)Taking everything much too seriously:
It's a new era for the Space Shuttle. The Lego Space Shuttle, that is.
The BBC reports a miniature Shuttle replica made entirely out of plastic Lego bricks blasted off toward space. RAUL OAIDA, from Romania, built the toy and attached it to a huge helium balloon. He couldn't get air traffic clearance for the lift off in his home country, so had to travel to Germany. In the end, the Lego ship soared to a height of 21-miles above the Earth. A small camera attached to the toy caught all the action on video (here). (Still)Taking everything much too seriously:
