Idle gossip & unconfirmed rumors:
ROBERT PATTINSON is hell-bent on teaching KRISTEN STEWART a lesson. Sources tell RadarOnline.com the "Twilight" hearthrob wants to take things very, very slow during their reconciliation period. This isn't good news for his leading lady --word is she's trying to force things back to the way they were before she stepped out with director RUPERT SANDERS.
Robert reportedly has forgiven --but can't forget-- her infidelity, and they've booked separate hotel rooms when they go on the promotional tour for "Breaking Dawn: Part 2." (Lee)If JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE and JESSICA BIEL aren't getting married in Italy this weekend they certainly have a lot of friends in town. Sources tell the NY Post's Page Six gossip column the beautiful duo chartered a private plane to fly their guests to a town outside of Naples and the celebration has already begun. Word is the festivities kicked off on Tuesday, there was a fireworks display last Wednesday and big name guests like TIMBALAND should be popping by for the nuptials. Word is the two fell in love on the Amalfi Coast and the country holds a special place in their hearts. (Lee)
Fashion Emergency:
Keep your designer shoes away from MARTHA STEWART. She can't leave anything alone. Martha admitted to InStyle magazine that she loves her CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN shoes. But she's not a fan of their iconic red sole. So she... paints them! Black! She says she just doesn't like the red, and that she checked with the designer to make sure it was okay with him before she defaced her Louboutins. (Bartha)
The Reel Deal:
Five "Star Trek" captains will be in the house in London this weekend for a "Star Trek" convention.
WILLIAM SHATNER (Captain Kirk), PATRICK STEWART (Captain Picard), AVERY BROOKS (Captain Sisko), KATE MULGREW (Captain Janeway) and SCOTT BAKULA (Captain Archer) will be among the 30 characters from the iconic TV series mingling with "trekkies" during the three-day convention in London's ExCel arena.
The organizers say they've sold around 17-thousand tickets for the gathering so far.
One actor who won't be showing up: LEONARD NIMOY, who played Mr Spock on the series.
But there will be an attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the largest gathering of people dressed as Star Trek characters (set two months ago in Las Vegas with 1,040 people dressed in costume).Grace notes from Vinny Marino:
Wanna get a wakeup call from ONE DIRECTION? The UK boy band has partnered up with a non-profit education group called Get Schooled to offer kids an early morning call from the guys that will hopefully get the students out of bed and on their way to class. You can sign up for this treat at the Get Schooled website. Students who register by October 26th will be eligible to win a notebook signed by One Direction. (Marino)
Webslinger update:
And now, here's a video of the President killing vampires.
This is actually pretty impressive. The creator says the video started out as a VFX test for a crowd simulation but once he started working on the shots, the story expanded into a mini-plot where vampires attack the White House and the president fights them off. (Maiman) -
