Fast Food:
Technomic's newly updated Burger Consumer Trend Report finds that 95 percent of consumers say they eat a burger at least once a month (including non-meat burgers). Nearly half the sample (46 percent) says "cravings" are among the top reasons.
We've come a long way from ordering "rare" to "well-done" or even with or without cheese. More than half the survey respondents (55 percent) want the menu to specify the kind of beef used, and most burger buffs (41 percent) prefer Angus beef.
It's followed by all-American ground beef (33 percent), sirloin (11 percent) and Kobe (3 percent) with 12 percent expressing no preference.
Technomic finds that 23 percent of diners (especially young adults) want to be able to nestle their patty in a gluten-free bun. Vegan choices are requested by 23 percent; vegetarian by 22 percent (vs. 18 percent a year ago). The build-your-own-burger option appeals to nearly two of three diners and 64 percent say they want to at least customize their burger's toppings.
Top choices for specialty burgers diners were most likely to choose:
6. Asian (27 percent)
5. Hawaiian (28 percent)
4. Cuban (32 percent)
3. Southwest (37 percent)
2. Cajun (40 percent)
1. Philly cheesesteak style (54 percent) (Kaye)Fashion Emergency:
The stylist who put LADY GAGA in a meat dress and turned her into fashion powerhouse isn't going to be overseeing the pop diva's wardrobe needs anymore. The reason: he's too busy to be changing her wardrobe 12 times a day! NICOLA FORMICHETTI told Women's Wear Daily that "She's going to be my B-F-F forever... I've done two albums with her, it's been like five years, and you know, I'm always going to be involved somehow, but I cannot do it every day. She changes 12 times a day; it's insane." Formichetti now has lead design duties at Diesel. He says an assistant will oversee Gaga's wardrobe needs.
Editor's Note: The guy who put Lady Gaga in a meat dress calls her wardrobe insane. Just let that one sink in. (Bartha)Lawsuit of the Day (follow-up):
Gotta love this one: the folks at the porn studio Caballero Video, have agreed not to do any more x-rated videos whose titles are patterned after Ben & Jerry ice cream flavors.
The Los Angeles Times reports the company, based in North Hollywood, has settled out of court with the ice cream makers, and will not be distributing or selling any more of its dozen "Ben & Cherry" series triple-X-rated videos, including...
--"Boston Cream Thigh"
--"Peanut Butter D-Cups"
--"New York Fat & Chunky"
--"Hairy Garcia"
--"Americone Cream"
--"Chocolate Fudge Babes"
Caballero's packaging also featured puffy white clouds and grazing cows, and the slogan "Porno's Finest," an obvious parody on Ben & Jerry's, which uses the slogan "Vermont's Finest."Stars and their movies:
Here's a poll we can all enjoy. Vivid Entertainment, the company that distributes all those X-rated tapes by Hollywood B-and-C-listers and has-beens, has done a poll which asks whhich guy you'd like to see in a celebrity sex tape.
The company released it's female survey in April, with the top women:
3. Jennifer Aniston, 15 percent
2. Anne Hathaway, 17 percent
1. Jennifer Lawrence, 22 percent
Note: Miley Cyrus, Lindsay Lohan, Halle Berry and Jennifer Lopez also picked up a handful of votes.

1. Ryan Gosling, 21 percent
